Strength and Durability
Our boats are crafted to Australian standards using the latest “High-Frequency Thermo Welding” (HFTW) technology on all seams to withstand Australia’s harsh conditions. So you’ll never have an Island Inflatables seam come apart due to heat.
Moreover, these inflatable boats use 1100 D-teck denier PVC with 0.9mm thickness. This is the highest grade PVC, before extending to those used in the armed forces. As a result, our boats have increased strength and durability.
 
Resilience and Stability in the Water
With oversized tubes, not only do Island Inflatables make a lovely boat ride but also ensure a more comfortable, stabler, and even drier boating experience.
 
These boats also have transoms constructed from marine ply, with epoxy and rubber coating for extra strength. They also include internal and external outboard mounting plates for extra support.
Plus, with a one-way bung, it’s easy to get rid of trapped water on your boat’s floor. This simple component can drain excess water while your boat is in motion.
 
You can quickly tell the quality of an inflatable boat in one glance. Just look at the high-quality tow rings on the front — you’ll know Island Inflatables are carefully designed. These large heavy-duty stainless steel tow rings are mounted on a large, robust mounting patch, so you know it won’t get easily detached even under tough conditions.
 
As a tender, Island Inflatables boats closely consider wear and tear. We use non-marking rubbing and wear strips around the side and under the keel. This keeps both the tender and the larger cruiser protected from rub marks.
 
Ease of Use and Functionality
On the underside of each large tube, there’s a second layer of PVC material. This will help when you drag or launch your inflatable off the water. It also gives that extra layer of protection against any rocks, shells, and anything sharp hidden in the water.
We have also moved the grab or safety rope from the top to the side of your Island Inflatables boat’s outer tube, so you’ll have a comfortable seat without any rope getting in the way.
As part of our ingenious design, we came up with the unique and useful internal rear carry handles. We moved the handles from the outside of the rear tubes to the inside. This makes it possible for one person to carry the boat easily.
